Black Hills East is a street race event in The Crew 2 that was added post-launch on February 13th, 2019, as part of "The Japan Touch" additions alongside with the To The Big Cow event. To participate in this race, players must have at least reached Icon level 1 requiring a minimum of 178,000 followers.
The race starts out in the Black Hills area and ends on the eastern side of the Dakota Grasslands with the finish being on a bridge between Dakota Grasslands and the Dairyland area. Throughout the race, players will drive by some landmarks such as Mount Rushmore and Silver Hills National Forest.
The race is divided into two sections with the first part featuring some turns whilst the second section takes place on a highway where there is plenty of room to pass each player by. The time and weather of this event is fixed; it takes place on a snowy wintery day.
Trivially, this is one of few events in The Crew 2 that has U.S. route road signs set up during the whole event.
