A sports car is a motor vehicle with a powerful engine, a high-performance chassis and braking system. The majority of these vehicles are two-seater. Performance is privileged, sometimes to the detriment of comfort.

While some sports cars are intended for motor racing, they are still marketed for driving on the road.
