The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 Convertible is an American two-door convertible sports car manufactured by Chevrolet. It performs the same as the Corvette C7 ZR1 coupé, but weighs 60 lb (27 kg) more than its coupé counterpart due to structural reinforcing components. The vehicle has been in production between 2014-2019 where it succeeded the sixth generation (C6) with the 2019 model being the sixth and last model. The Corvette C7 ZR1 Convertible was unveiled at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Under the hood, the Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 Convertible comes equipped with 6.2L pushrod LT5 V8 engine similarly to its coupé counterpart capable of developing 755 horsepower at 6,300 revolutions per minute (RPM).
The Crew 2[]
The Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 Convertible made its first appearance in The Crew 2 on April 14, 2021 where it was made available as part of Elite Bundle #7 alongside with the BMW i8 Roadster and the Renault R.S. 0.1 until May 12, 2021. The vehicle is listed as a Hypercar and is only available as such. Once the exclusitivity period is over, the vehicle can be individually purchased with either 1,252,300 or 178,900. The coupé equivalent of this vehicle, the Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 was later added on March 16, 2022 as part of the American Legends update.
Long Range Edition[]
A special variant of the Corvette C7 ZR1 Convertible named Long Range Edition is a modified version of the car featuring a design reminiscent to the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor fighter jet which includes a unique widebody, golden window tint and exhaust on the back part of the car. It was only obtainable by reaching the top 3000 position (platinum) in the Long Haul LIVE Summit that was active between June 16 to 23, 2021.
