Downtown Detroit is a two-lap circuit street race in The Crew 2 that takes place in the city center of Detroit, Michigan. To participate in this race, players must have at least reached Star fame level requiring minimum 107,000 followers. In this racing event, players will be taking on American muscle cars paying homage to Detroit's car culture.
The event starts near the Campus Martius park and heads towards Grand Circus park and Foxtown only to go back Downtown to the Grand Circus and Campus Martius parks where the race then heads to the Detroit river and the Cobo Center tunnel on the M-10.
The race features wide roads with plenty of space for overtaking other players but has many sharp turns on top of that. Players may want to be careful about hitting city objects such as subway poles and trees.
