The Chosen was an ongoing summit in The Crew 2 that took place between November 3 - 10, 2021 and succeeded the SF Ghost Tour LIVE Summit.
The Chosen was a themed summit that did not require players to have reached a certain Icon level, meaning that all players could participate (including new players). Unlike most of the previous summits, this was the second summit to have this requirement disabled, the first being the Open Days in January 2020. However, in contrast to the latter, all vehicle restrictions featured stock uncustomized vehicles in order to make the Summit more competitive and cannot be altered. It was also the last LIVE Summit related to the US Speed Tour West, the second episode of the MotorFlix third season.
The summit also saw the return of the Ferrari F12tdf from the Brawn vs. Beauty summit that players could win by reaching the platinum rank (4000 on PC, 11000 on PlayStation 4, 2100 on Xbox One and 100 on Stadia) by the end of this summit. It was the second live summit to feature a platinum prize vehicle that have been featured in a previous summit, the first being Peak Dance in August. The car was also the third vehicle to be obtainable on the Stadia version for the first time after it was initially obtainable on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions, after the Wasp edition of the Porsche Cayman GT4 in August and the Lamborghini Huracán Performante in November 2020.
A contest for this LIVE Summit also took place on its first day between 18.00 to 20.00 UTC, where 7 of the best known players competed via their live stream to see who has the highest summit score within that window. After the contest ended, each of the streamers chose 5 lucky viewers from their respective stream to give away a code for Crew Credits (which were worth 150K each for those in first place, 100K for those in second and third and 50K for the rest).
The Chosen was the penultimate last summit of the season 8 LIVE Summit's. It was followed up by the Velocità LIVE Summit on November 10, 2021 at 04.00 UTC.
