The 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is an American muscle sports car manufactured by Ford. It is part of the sixth generation Ford Mustang that has been in production since 2014.

Under the hood, the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 comes equipped with a 5.2L supercharged V8 engine capable of developing 760 horsepower at 7,300 revolutions per minute (RPM).

The Crew 2[]

The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 made its first appearance in The Crew 2. It made its debut post-launch on March 25, 2020 as part of the Inner Drive free update. It is the first time that the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 has ever made an appearance in a racing game across all platforms. It can be purchased with either Cash 568,399 or with Credits 81,199.

Road Force One

A special variant of the Mustang Shelby GT500 named Road Force One (a pun of Air Force One) is a modified version of the vehicle featuring an altered body kit, a spoiler, a visible intake scoop and a livery reminiscent to the US flag. It was mistakenly made available for purchase with crew credits only when the Birthday Blitz LIVE Summit started on June 24, 2020 before it was removed 5 hours later. Any player that bought the vanity bundle that came with the car during the time window would then get refunded as compensation after its removal. It was eventually re-released as part of the Independence Day LIVE Summit on June 30, 2021 and can be purchased at anytime with either Cash 618,799 or with Credits 88,399.

Interceptor Unit edition

The special version of the GT500 was made available on Nov. 25th alongside the November update. The Interceptor edition will be given to players who have bought the premium pack for the first Motorpass. It also comes with a free wing and front fender.
