The 2010 Mazda RX-8 R3 is a Japanese sports car manufactured by Mazda.

Under the hood, the Mazda RX-8 comes equipped with a 1.3L twin-rotor engine capable of developing 232 horsepower (with standard six-speed manual transmission) at 8,500 revolutions per minute.

The Crew 2

The Mazda RX-8 made its first appearance in The Crew 2 and did unlike the Mazda MX-5 (ND) and RX-7 not appear in the first title. The Mazda RX-8 was released on December 4, 2019 as part of the Street Fight LIVE Summit. Players can purchase the vehicle with either  291,199 or with  41,599.

Thunderwave Edition

Thunderwave Edition is a modified version of the car that features a blue paintjob, altered bodykit, spoiler and a yellow interior. It was only obtainable by reaching the top 3,000 leaderboard position (platinum) in the Rising Sun Strikes Back (Again) LIVE summit between April 29 to May 6, 2020, November 11 to 18, 2020 and September 19 to 26, 2023.

Gold Edition

Gold Edition is another special variant of the RX-8. It is also modified with a black paint job, altered visual parts and gold features such as fenders, spoiler and an exposed engine (as the Turbo and air filter can be seen). It was only obtainable for players who reach the top 3,000 leaderboard position (platinum) in the Gold Seeker LIVE Summit that was active between December 30, 2020 to January 6, 2021.

The special edition vehicle was also obtainable for players who reached platinum rank (4000 on PC, 11000 on PS4, 2100, on Xbox One and 100 on Stadia) as part of the Gold Seeker 2 LIVE Summit that was active between April 20 to 27, 2022.

Pearl Edition

Pearl Edition is another special variant of the RX-8. It features identical modification element with the Gold edition but with a white painjob, chrome blue wheels and red features on the headlights, skirts and spoiler. It was added to the game as part of the Into the Storm update and is an exclusive vehicle to the Mazda RX-8 Pearl Edition Starter Pack DLC that also comes with  45,000.
