|C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series|
|Rating||163 / 280|
The Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series is a German two-door sports car coupé, built to be more racing focused, hardcore and powerful than normal C-Classes. Like other AMG models, it uses a 6.2 liter M156 V8, similar to the engine used in the SLS AMG, mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox. Upgrades from the normal C 63 AMG include more power, a higher top speed, and many visual upgrades, including vents on the sides to aid brake cooling. The rear diffuser is made to resemble the one on the SLS AMG GT3. AMG sports suspension is standard, as well as a rear limited-slip differential. The electronic stability program has 3 settings to allow the driver to tailor the car for their driving preference, and a full manual mode using steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.
All of the Black Series goodies spreads into the interior. AMG sports bucket seats are standard, finished partly in black alcantara microfiber. The rear seats could be removed to lighten the car, as a no- cost option. The steering wheel was made to feel more sporty, with a flat top and bottom, also including alcantara inserts. Red seat belts and contrast stitching were also standard.
The Perf spec in The Crew can be fitted with the AMG Aerodynamics Package. This package added a carbon front splitter, canards on the front bumper, and a huge adjustable rear wing. There was also an optional AMG Track Package which added thicker, better tires and better cooling systems for track use.
The vehicle went on sale in 2012 as a limited edition. There was 800 built, with about 100 coming to North America. All cars that came to the United States had a panoramic sunroof, while other markets had a lightweight, color matched roof panel.
The Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series was made its first appearance in the first installment of The Crew. It is obtainable with the acquisition of the Speed Pack, or as a singular Vehicle Shipment.
The Crew 2
The Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series made again an appearance in The Crew 2 where it is listed as a street racing vehicle and is only available as such, however, a 2016 model, the Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG C63 Touring Car just as the name implies is available as a touring car in-game too whilst not being the exact same model or part of the same generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class line-up. The Black Series Coupé in itself can be purchased with either 326,200 or 46,600. It is also one of 3 cars to have a beta handling edition. The other two are the BMW M2 and the Jaguar F-Type SVR Coupe.
The central high-mounted brake light doesn't function in The Crew; however, this was fixed in The Crew 2.
