Old Gold Mine is the name of an area that includes an old gold mine. The Old Gold Mine is located in the Central Valley area, south east of Sacramento, California. The Old Gold Mine is a reference to the California Gold Rush that occured in the 1840-1850's. It is based on the Kennedy Gold Mine in Amador County, California.
