The Old North St. Louis is a district located in the northern part of St. Louis, Missouri, north of the Business District and Downtown St. Louis. The area is mostly known for its old brick houses. The area was established in 1816 as an area of its own before being taken over by the city in 1841. Old North St. Louis is mostly portrayed as an industrial area.
