The 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 is a German touring car manufactured by Porsche. The vehicle is part of the second generation Porsche Cayman line, internally designated "981C." Since 2016, the GT4 has entered in competitions such as the GT4 European Series and the 24 hours of Nürburgring.

Under the hood, the Porsche Cayman GT4 comes equipped with a 3.8L DOHC flat-six engine capable of developing 385 horsepower at 7,400 revolutions per minute.

The Crew 2

The Porsche Cayman GT4 made its first appearance in The Crew 2 where it was released on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019 as part of the April 2019 vehicle drop alongside with the 2018 Suzuki GSX-R1000R motorbike.

As with any vehicle drop, the Porsche Cayman GT4 was upon its release an exclusive vehicle for players that owned a season pass. Regular players will gain access to the Porsche Cayman GT4 the following week after on Wednesday, April 10th, 2019 where it can be obtained with either  492,100 or with  70,300.

Wasp Edition

Wasp edition of the Porsche Cayman GT4 was released at the end of the Flying Germans LIVE Summit on July 3rd, 2019. This special variant features a yellow paintjob with black stripes and altered visual parts. Players who had reached the platinum level (by being in the top 3000 in it's original run and rerun) (4000 on PC, 11000 on PS4 and 2100 on Xbon One in it's second rerun) between June 26, 2019 and the afromentioned date, November 6th to 13th, 2019 as well as February 8 to 15, 2023 on each platform at the end of the Summit (PC/PS4/Xbox One) would receive one for free.

The special edition vehicle was also obtainable for players who reached platinum rank (4000 on PC, 11000 on PS4, 2100, on Xbox One and 100 on Stadia) as part of the Peak Dance LIVE Summit that was active between August 11 to 18, 2021. This was the second vehicle to be obtainable on the Stadia version for the first time after it was initially obtainable on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions, the first being the Lamborghini Huracán Performante in November 2020.

Carbon Edition

Carbon edition is another special variant of the Cayman GT4. It features identical customisation element with the Wasp edition but with the body being carbon (hence the name) and features red decals. It was added to the game as part of the Into the Storm update and is an exclusive vehicle to the Porsche Cayman GT4 Starter Pack DLC that also comes with  45,000.
