The Proto HuP One is a hot rod produced by the fictional American car company Proto. It appears in both games (The Crew and The Crew 2). It resembles the 1932 Ford Model B, and is the first hot rod in the series.
Under the hood, the Proto HuP One comes equipped with an engine capable of developing 375 horsepower as specified through the in-game statistics.
The Proto HuP One first appeared in The Crew. It is available in street, dirt, perf and circuit specs. To obtain this vehicle, players must find all of its parts for any spec depending on the geographic region of the United States with an exception of the Mountain States;
- The parts for the street spec can be found in the Midwest.
- The parts for the dirt spec can be found in the East Coast.
- The parts for the perf spec can be found in the South.
- The parts for the circuit spec can be found in the West Coast.

The Crew 2
The Proto HuP One returned to The Crew 2 where it can be acquired in four different vehicle types with the main stock vehicle being listed as a street racing vehicle. Apart from the street racing version, it is also available as a touring car, as well as a monster truck as part of the King of Mayhem update, however, the monster truck model is not purchasable with either in-game bucks or crew credits. To unlock it, players must have reached Icon level 850 to earn it.
Burning Wheels Edition
A special variant of the HuP One that was made available alongside the Rust and Dust LIVE Summit, named Burning Wheels edition, is a customized version of the car that features an altered bodykit, a visible engine (as two exhaust pipes and an air intake scoop can be seen), a black paintjob and flame decals. The special edition vehicle is also listed as a street racing vehicle but is only available as such. It is rated 160 out of 280 and can be purchased with either 415,800 or with 59,400.
The Inferno edition is another special variant of the HuP One that was made available alongside the Inferno LIVE Summit. It has a lava crack design on its body (which also turns off when the vehicle is inactive) and wheels, and also features a visible engine. The special edition vehicle is also listed as a drag racing car but is only available as such. It is rated 335 out of 400 and can be purchased with 391,439 or with 55,919.
